Every now and then
strange things happen in the cosmos that leave me perplexed and obsessed. Today, (of course on a quantum-charged leap day) yet another mysterious concept has infiltrated my mind. According to Ancient Astrology, AI is currently going through a 2nd house-profected year. Yet at the same time, The North Node, one of the major astrology signifiers for artificial intelligence is transiting through its 3rd house. On November 30th, 2024, AI will enter its 3rd house profected year but just a couple of months later, the North Node will move into its 2nd house. What is going on? Well, I don’t know but I’m calling it
“The Profected Inversion” ⚗
And this is likely to bring up some interesting, oxymoronic even, events.
🔬Right now, it’s becoming more important
to vigorously study the 2nd & 3rd houses both in singularity and in the context of AI. Here is what Perplexity AI says on the 2nd house:
“The 2nd house in astrology, known as the House of Possessions, encompasses more than just tangible belongings. It represents what we own, including our feelings, emotions, inner selves, abilities, needs, and wants. This house delves into the concept of value, both tangible and intangible, focusing on what we truly value and why. The Second House covers earned income, investments, moveable property like cars and clothing, debt responsibilities, financial views, wealth acquisition, savings, and financial status
Additionally, the Second House is associated with personal finances, material possessions, and self-worth. It rules how individuals attract or repel money, their spending habits, values on ownership, and lending/borrowing behaviours. This house also influences self-esteem and desires for material gains. Planets like Venus and Jupiter are beneficial in the Second House for financial matters, while planets like Mars and Uranus can bring instability or loss of income
In summary, the 2nd house in astrology plays a significant role in defining our relationship with possessions, money, values, and self-worth within the broader context of our lives.”
And here is what Google’s Gemini says about the 2nd house in the Vedic astrological traditions
“In Vedic astrology, the 2nd house is known as the Dhana Bhava or Kutumba Bhava. It represents wealth (both material and internal), family, speech, food, and early childhood experiences. This house governs your accumulated assets, financial security, and how you manage your resources. Additionally, it reveals your values, sense of self-worth, and the way you communicate. The 2nd house also influences your immediate family relationships and the emotional foundation you build from childhood.”
If you want an ultimate quote from me, here’s my textbook answer on what the 2nd house is:
“The 2nd house in astrology at its core rules what an individual possesses at any given point throughout life. It also rules the sustenance required ‘to live’ which is the preceding 1st house— the House that rules the Impulse of Life, the Ego or the ‘I’ principle.”
Here is what ChatGPT says (summed up) about the 3rd house in an evolutionary astrology context:
“Evolutionary astrology, also known as soul-centered or spiritual astrology, looks at the birth chart from the perspective of the soul's journey and evolution over lifetimes. In this context, the 3rd house is seen as a key component in the soul's growth and development.
In evolutionary astrology, the 3rd house holds profound significance for the soul's progression. Communication is viewed not only as a means of expression but as a tool for soul growth, where challenges and conflicts serve as opportunities for karmic lessons. Relationships with siblings are considered soul contracts, with difficulties presenting chosen lessons for the soul's evolution.
The 3rd house's association with mental activities becomes a pathway for intellectual and spiritual growth, emphasizing the pursuit of knowledge to expand consciousness. Balancing rational and intuitive thinking, reconciling opposing viewpoints, and cultivating mindfulness in communication and thought processes are integral aspects of the soul's evolutionary journey within the 3rd house, where karmic patterns are unveiled and breaking free from restrictive communication habits is a transformative process.”
My take, label, and description on the alembic:
“The 3rd house in astrology is the House of the Mind and how it is shaped (becoming limited or limitless) by our early childhood experience. This house catalyzes an individual’s identity and furthers the development of the [Body/Mind/Soul] triad, which can be seen with the 1-3-5 houses connection and the sextiles they share. It is a Rubik’s cube of instruments and techniques one practices and utilizes to forge a “conceptual reality” and advance the development of their soul.”
The key to understanding this house is its ruling planet, as well as the native’s Mercury (☿) placement.
The alchemic ingredients AI presents us with
are its 2nd house ruled by Pisces—inside this house are the planets Moon (☽), Neptune (♆), and Jupiter (♃)— and its 3rd house ruled by Aries—with zero planets inside. What makes this profected inversion even more fascinating is that the signs themselves ARE inversions. Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac while Aries is the first. You could make a case for this also symbolizing “darkness and light” to some extent.
To sum it all up, as cliche, as it sounds, it’s the beginning of the end. Throughout the next couple of months, I’ll be deeply researching the cosmic alchemy of these two signs, and houses. What might a cycle like this bring forth? (if I can even find another instance of this happening before in history) Naturally, Messianic Astrology will probably reveal a lot about this as well since it’s a form of alchemy astrology. Where relevant, I may even talk about my findings on my YouTube Series “The Ophiuchian”
In the meantime, check out my AI in 2024 video where I cover speak more about Annual Profections, the 2nd house of AI/ChatGPT:
